So lame

Spent the evening catching up on blogs that I haven't looked at in weeks!! That's the ticket, wait awhile, then there's a plethera (sp?) to indulge in.

Sort of gave me the fever, so I'm at it again

Here's our little update...

We're buying a house!!

After two long months of looking, we found just (about) what we're looking for. We traded in the big yard on Vogel for a small lot with tons of inside square footage (our only concession). And we close next Thursday, so we are very excited.

Very excited to get our things from Milwaukee, very excited to sleep on our nice king-sized mattress (hate hate hate the flimsy queen we're sleeping on here at the rental, plus the springs are pretty much shot on my side so I'll say hasta la vista, baby to stiff body in the mornings), very excited to have the kids' bikes to play in the lovely weather we've been blessed with here, and very excited to have my kitchen things back, especially my knives! Is that dumb? I don't think so....

Here's a couple pics, but will surely be adding more when we move in. Did I mention this place has a hot tub?! Hope it's not a clunker!

How am I going to paint these second story walls?? Better buy a bigger ladder, I guess, cause beige doesn't cut it in my world!

Kinda dumb, but I'm really excited about this garage. It's 2 1/2 car, so there's room on the side for storage. Plus, the cabinets were redone inside, so the old ones were repurposed as storage in the garage (and in the unfinished basement) instead of being trashed!! Here's Max, looking for treasures!
