Tagged

So I was just tagged, and since I haven't posted anything this week I guess I'll get down to sharing things about me. But first, some new pictures.

1: What was I doing 10 years ago?
I don't even want to admit to what I was doing 10 years ago. That was the lowest point in my life. Maybe 9 years ago is a better question. That's when I started getting my act together and getting rid of the things in my life that were dragging me down.

2: What are 5 things on my to do list?
List, what list? Corey is the one with the list. I guess I should list this under bad habits, but I never learned to write lists. I just know in my head what I need to do, but now that we have 2 kids, a lot of those fall out of my brain. Maybe that's what I need to commit to, writing an actual list.

3: What are my 3 worst habits?
-I pick at my fingernails - at least I quit biting them.
-I hate doing dishes after cooking dinner. It's like I can't face spending another 1/2 hour in the kitchen.
-I'm too much of a home-body. I could go days without seeing or talking to anyone. Thank goodness I have good friends that don't let me do that too often - thanks Darcy!

4: Where have I lived?
I grew up and moved out of the same house I was born into, but since then have lived in various parts of Salt Lake City. I went to school in Ephraim, UT, and am now living in Greenfield, WI.

5: What would I do if (when :) I became a millionaire?
Fancy house, nice car, new wardrobe -- for starters. Since I'm married to Corey, we would of course have to invest a large portion so we could continue to be millionaires. We would then donate to a school (Corey's always wanted people to go to their classes in the Grip Building), then go on multiple missions (again, mainly for Corey -- is there a pattern here?). I guess I want to be comfortable and Corey wants to be adventurous and beneficial. I'll let you all know how this works out, once we come up with our big million dollar idea that will change the world!

6: What jobs have I had?
Although I've worked since I was 16 (and continued working until I was 31), I've only worked at 5 different places. Burger King for 2 years, Diamond Glass for too many years, Olive Garden when I wanted to break out of Diamond Glass - only to be sucked back in, Harding Glass for 6 months until they shut the doors, and ABRA Auto Body. I spent 3 years there in Utah, then was able to transfer with them when we moved out to Wisconsin and worked another 1 1/2 years before I had Addie. I guess I should say 6 jobs, since I'm now a very full-time mommy.

7: What are 5 things you may not know about me?
I guess that depends on how well you know me - I'm not very private about my life. Some unique things about me are as follows:
-I am the middle of 11 children in my family
-I was the only one to be born at home, in our parents room
-I owned an impressive amount of romance novels when I was in college (I gave most of them away when I decided to grow up)
-I used to be a championship level clogger (don't laugh, I know you're all jealous!)
-I played the clarinet for 8 years, and never liked it. But I loved being in the midst of all that beautiful music so I never quit.

Okay, NOW it's spring (we hope)

So we don't have much going on here, but I realized it's been a couple weeks since I last posted, so here are some new photos to enjoy.

Addie loving Max! We don't photograph her beating on him, so we can't show the other 85% of the day.

Spring has finally sprung (I hope, I hope). All the snow has melted, and it's been in the 60's this week. This picture was taken the coldest day this week, low 50's. Now we're just waiting for the rain that will keep us indoors again.

Addie was supposed to be cleaning her room, but she just kept bringing more and more toys to Max - emptying out her toy bins and messing up her room even more.
.
So Max is now 6 1/2 months old, and I openly nurse him in front of Addie. But this is the first time I've seen this. She's pulled up her shirt so she can 'nurse' her baby. Maybe it's time to start using the cover at home.

Corey's in Augusta, Georgia for the next few days. Anyone know the significance? That's right, it's Master's time, one of the 4 PGA majors. I'm sure we'll have some good photos to post from that trip. He's there with his dad, and a good friend from Utah, Shane, and Shane's dad. I was never considered, not that I feel left out. Walking around for 8 hours watching golf isn't really my cup of tea.
Point of trivia: What does GOLF stand for?
I'll post the answer if no one answers correctly in their comments when we have appropriate pictures.
